Employed by engineering firm Ingenium in Zevenaar, I got the opportunity to start a sister company in Nuenen: IDEM Industrial Design Engineering & Manufacturing. I recruited colleagues and managed the team of 6 design engineers. Responsible for the execution of projects (plastic products, design optimizations supported by FEM and Moldflow simulations and making tangible models), recruiting customers and applying 3D printing technologies in the projects.
IDEM is an agency that supports companies by Industrial Design Engineering & Manufacturing their (plastic) products. IDEM’s design engineers have their core competencies in the area of 3D CAD, designing smart solutions in plastic (products & moulds), 3D printing and production preparation and testing.
